Two Men And A Truck Review
Pros: good price, efficient movers, prompt responses
Cons: careless in handling TV, user-unfriendly in responding to complaint Two Men & A Truck seriously damaged my (relatively new) TV while moving my items only 30 miles--in spite of the fact that TV was packed in original box w/packing material). The CRT was diagnosed as being ''damaged--non-repairable.'' TMT sent $45 to compensate me for a relatively new $299 TV (in accordance w/Basic Value Protection, Option 1). Moreover, the movers indicated incorrect info on the form & neglected to provide the complete paperwork. I found their handling of my TV unacceptable--& certainly not consistent with their slogan, "Movers who care." The General Manager's responses were unapologetic and unpleasant. Additionally, the URL indicated on the box invoice (www.two.men.com) is not the company's URL (in fact, it's the URL of a website that's certainly not a moving company). I would warn anyone who uses them to buy the maximum insurance. I would also add that United Van Lines moved my stuff half way across the country several years ago & did a fine job.
